WeatherCaddie ("the app," "we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights. By using WeatherCaddie, you agree to the practices described below.
Data Storage
WeatherCaddie stores all of your data locally on your device. Your golf club configurations, carry distances, weather preferences, and round history are saved using your device's secure local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Location Data
When you grant location permission, WeatherCaddie uses your current position solely to fetch accurate weather data from the Open-Meteo API. Location coordinates are sent only to the weather service to retrieve local conditions. We do not store, track, or retain your location history. Location access is optional, and the app functions with manual location entry.
Third-Party Services
WeatherCaddie uses the Open-Meteo API (a open-source weather service) to provide real-time weather data. When fetching weather, your approximate location (coordinates) is transmitted to Open-Meteo. Open-Meteo is a non-commercial service that does not track users. If in-app purchases are enabled, RevenueCat processes subscription transactions securely through Apple's App Store infrastructure. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Data Deletion
All app data is stored locally on your device. To delete all data, simply uninstall the application. You may also clear individual round history within the app at any time.
Children's Privacy
WeatherCaddie does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.
Policy Updates
We may update this privacy policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store your personal data on any server, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You retain complete control of all data on your device and can clear it at any time from within the app or by uninstalling.
